Definitive Reviews of London’s Indian Restaurants

Indian City 6

Indian City is in a prominent location on a busy road just north of the Thames. On the evening we went it was pretty busy, with a couple of large parties as well as smaller groups of diners.

We started with a shared Tandoori Platter, which was as described. We then followed with a Chicken Jalfrezi and Karahi Chicken, as well as various vegetable dishes, Rotis and rice. The Jalfrezi was good, although not particularly spicy. The Karahi was a bit bland and disappointing.

The service was efficient, but somewhat impersonal, and prices were reasonable.

There’s nothing much wrong with Indian City, but there wasn’t anything to excite me either, so I wouldn’t rush to go back.
