I’ve wanted to like this place, as it’s very near my London home, and so I’ve tried it on three separate occasions. And those three visits have confirmed my opinion that it’s not very good.
The predominant colour is dark blue, and the tables are crammed in close together to maximise the number of punters they can fit in.
I have found the service to be indifferent. But it is the food that really disappoints, with a bland over-tomato heavy taste predominating in several of the curry dishes.
On my last visit I did actually tell the waiter that I thought the meal was disappointing and over-priced (safely after the last food had been served – we all how cooks and waiters respond to complaints!). This observation was met with a shrug of the shoulders.
I’m clearly missing something here, as there are effusive reviews on several websites. Except that three consecutive reviews on “All In London”, all giving this place 10 stars out of 10 does raise one’s suspicions — particularly as two of them are by anonymous reviewers, and the third person has written no other reviews. Hmmm.
